Open Edition Original Prints
Most photographs from our books are available as open edition original prints which are made to order. The original photographs (usually 4x5 inch transparencies) are drum-scanned. I then use a computer to perform the creative tasks normally done in the darkroom. The photographs are now available as giclée prints made [with] archival inks on heavy, all-cotton fine art paper with hand-torn edges. All prints are hand-signed in the margin.

Prints are made using PiezoTone, Carbon Sepia inks on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper (a matte-surface, fine art paper.) We believe these to be the most archival inks on the market, based on side-by-side tests done by Cone Editions. The hue of the prints is a slightly warm, charcoal gray. We hand-tear the edges of the paper, and each print is signed and numbered by Craig in the margin.

Horizons: Original Prints
All Photographs in the Horizons book are available in two sizes of giclée prints, each size limited to an edition of 10. Prices increase as editions sell out: Orders may be placed at any of the Blacklock Photography Galleries. Time of purchase wil be noted. In case of conflicts, the earliest purchase will the the lower number (and price). Waters of Superior, Duluth. will confirm and keep track of all orders.
